EXPL-0308 DOT TRANSPORTATION OF EXPLOSIVES BY RAIL: REFRESHER This awareness-level course provides a fast-paced overview of the safe rail transportation of Class 1 explosives, in accordance with select United States Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Notice No. 03-7, jointly issued through Research and Special Programs Administration and Federal Railroad Administration, United States Department of Transportation, and Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security, is also discussed. This course is geared toward law enforcement agents, shippers, manufacturers, carriers, handlers, train officials, military officers, and contractors of explosives. This course is also invaluable to anyone who aspires to become a contractor of explosives. This 8-hour course covers up-to-date and important DOT, military, security, and risk subjects. Certification is provided in accordance with DOT and CFR regulations. All courses are taught by a licensed contractor of explosives with advanced degrees in engineering for more than 5 years.
