BASIC LEVEL INCIDENT COMMAND COURSE
This course provides an outstanding introduction to
the National Incident Management Systems as these relate to ICS-100 and
ICS-700 level training curriculums.
This includes an overview of the principles, common
terminology, and position responsibilities when responding to an event using
the Incident Command System.
In accordance with the Department of Homeland Security
Presidential Directive of 28 February 2003, the purpose, principles, key
components and benefits of NIMS are also presented.
This course adequately prepares students for testing
and certification in IS-100 and IS-700 through the on-line
U.S. Department of Homeland Security courses.
