This
course provides essential training for health and safety
protection when responding to radioactive materials
incidents and hazardous materials emergencies.
This course also provides comprehensive refresher
operations awareness training, as well as in-depth
training in radiation, to fire fighters who are
currently trained to the National Fire Protection
Association (NFPA) Standard for Professional Competence
for Responders to Hazardous Materials (NFPA 472).
All other interested emergency responders,
professionals, building officials, and parties are
welcome. This course is taught over three days to
maximize a comprehensive understanding of the material.
